City Voices - Vale for Africa Charity Concert
Date Posted: 01 March 2017Vale for Africa cordially invites you to their fundraising event in the majestic Bradenstoke Hall of St Donat’s Castle, where you will be entertained by the City Voices Cardiff choir, supported by UWC Atlantic College Music Department students.
All proceeds will go to the Vale for Africa Atlantic College Student Scholarship Fund. This fund supports the UWC Atlantic College scholarship student from Tororo, Uganda in partnership with Vale for Africa. The next student from Tororo will join the college in August 2017.
You will be welcomed into St Donat’s immaculate Tudor gardens from 1.30pm. You are invited to bring a picnic and enjoy the garden in this most spectacular of Glamorgan settings, with its sea views and glorious vistas. Please be sure to bring your own picnic blankets and folding chairs though!
At 3.00pm the harmonies will begin. City Voices Cardiff, with support from students of UWC Atlantic College Music Department, will delight you with their repertoire of songs in the breathtaking Bradenstoke Hall. There will be a short break in the singing for presentations by Vale for Africa and to bid a fond farewell to Jackline Abbo, the current recipient of Vale for Africa’s Atlantic College Student Scholarship Fund. The event, culminating with more singing, will conclude at approximately 4.30pm.
Please note:
– All proceeds will go to the Vale for Africa Atlantic College Student Scholarship Fund, which will go toward supporting the next Vale for Africa student at Atlantic College in August 2017.
– You are invited to bring your own picnic blankets and seating
– Light refreshments will be available at St Donat’s Arts Centre
– Only guide dogs are permitted
